North Twin Lake is a charming small lake in LaPine, with a campground area, boat launch and forest toilets.
North Twin Lakes is located in the Cascade Lakes Region of Central Oregon and is part of the Deschutes National Forest permitting system. It’s a relatively small campground area with only 18 or so campsites. There are hiking trails near the lake, but some areas can be ‘boggy’.
There is a dirt parking area for day use.
Permit required from Deschutes National Forest. And payment of approximately $18 for campsite use.
